7 days until Christmas, I'm so excited and I'm certain that everybody is going to love their presents! I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do for everybody is, and this side note is for my family just to let you know, Dad, Mom and big brother, if you decide to read this post, PLEASE, PLEASE do not read this next part. OK (whispers quietly) what I'm going to get Dad I'm not sure, for Mom I'm going to get a Essential Oils Car Diffuser, for my big brother I'm going to get him a 1 month membership for Chesskid.com, and for my little brother I'm going to get him a transforming Batmobile ! "The Phantom Tollbooth" Book Review #Our 100th Blog Post!

I'd recommend this book to kid's who have read, and also liked the book Mischievians. It has a lot and I mean a lot of funny things in it and I mean it is so funny! This book is about a boy who has somehow gotten this "Phantom Tollbooth" and gets teleported or something to this place that he goes on a adventure. It's really a good book. My favorite part is when everyone makes a quite short speech but the funny part about it is was that what you said in your speech is what you got!

The Raids in Destiny are so Hard!!!

My birthday party is coming soon!

I'm so happy because my birthday party is coming! The theme is Lego. I'm so excited for my party! One reason I am so happy about my birthday is because on the day of my birthday the new expansion for Destiny comes out! YAY!

Destiny Research Report

Destiny is a shooting game, the second expansion is here and its called: House of Wolves. The first expansion was called the dark below. Your ghost will look like one of these:
You'll start out with the generalist shell. It will guide you through the game. Another thing you have to do is choose one of the three classes:

The hunter is my personal favorite partially because it does more damage from far away. The Titan is the opposite of the Hunter and the Warlock is double trouble (for it's enemies because it does a good amount of damage in far range and close range)!

 The last thing you have to do is choose a guy or girl:

 

The guy on the left is called an awoken, the girl in the middle is a human and the one on the right is called an exo, sort of like a human looking robot. Then you're going to be dropped in the first level. You start out with no guns but eventually if you choose Hunter then you get a sniper rifle. If you choose a Titan or a Warlock you get a close range shotgun. Remember you have limited ammo and you can only get ammo from bad guys and ammo synthesis. They look like silver slabs with a little colored line. They look like this:Destiny is my #1 favorite video game so I wish I could play it for hours on end but we only have it on my Dad's, PS4 so even though I rarely get to play I'm a level 26.

How to Survive Your Fourth Night in Minecraft

If you've been listening then you should have a crafting table, a furnace, a bow, arrows, some TNT, a full set of iron tools and a full set of iron armor. What you can do for the next few Minecraft days is go monster and animal hunting and get a bunch of stuff from monsters and animals then just keep it all. Now that you have some of the necessities needed to finish the game, I'm going tell you how to get the trophies.
The Beginning? (Spawn the Wither)

How to Survive Your Third Night in Minecraft

If you've been listening then you should have a crafting table, a furnace, a full set of iron tools and a full set of iron armor. If you don't have enough iron to make a full set of  iron armor, then MINE ALL THE IRON NECESSARY! If you already have iron armor then go monster and animal hunting. Be careful. When you hear a ssssssssss, RUN!!! Once you have a bow, arrows, some TNT and some more iron tools and iron armor you can get into bed, sleep and BANG! You're finished with the night!

How to Survive Your Second Night in Minecraft

If you've been listening then you should have a crafting table, a furnace and a full set of stone tools. First, what you should be doing now is getting wood and making charcoal (if you were wanting to know how, just put planks on the bottom and plain on top, I prefer to put the first charcoal that I get as the next fuel and take the planks out but, do it as you wish). Make sure that you leave charcoal for torches! Next, dig deeper in a staircase manner until you hit 3 iron ore if you found coal, mine all of it, use that for cooking and smelting and use all the leftover charcoal for torches. Make a iron pick and once you have enough iron make a full  set of  iron tools and a full set of  iron armor. If its nighttime (which it probably is) make a little hidey hole, put your bed in there, sleep and BANG! You're finished with the night!

Reason 1 : The game's all blocks I mean everyone likes block. Am I right? Reason 2: Its easy to go from beginner to master. Reason 3: There's even a minecraft wiki, if you want to you can make your own thing or  you can just kick back and look stuff up (if you're okay with it, parents). If you want to play (and you're okay with it, parents), then its sort of pricey but its totally worth it!

Book Report for Michael Vey 1&2

Author: Richard Paul Evans

The main character of the books: Michael Vey (Its on the covers of all of the books).
The setting: Idaho, California and Peru. I'm telling you this is a really good book! It's mainly recommended for 11 year old kids that's my older brother's age and yet he never even reads the first chapter of the first book even after I keep nagging him on to read it! It was even recommended for our Mom by someone! Its about a boy named Michael Vey and how Elgen (pronounced El-Jen) takes his mother but in the next book he get's her back but I don't want to give away all the surprises do I? You might think that I would have finished the series but there are 2 reasons why I haven't finished the series 1: I think they're going to make more 2: I admit it. I just started 3. We have new chicks!

We have new chicks and I'm so happy! This is a picture of them:

Aren't they cute? They're a wellsummer and a buff orpington. Yesterday we introduced our foster mom chickens to our new chicks. Thankfully neither had the heart to peck a chick. We may take the chicks out back so that they can negotiate their business and we will only get involved if we have to. My Mom is sold on the name professor Orpington for Buffy.

Dumb Ways to Die

Trust me here there are some very, very dumb ways  to die. Did you know that there's actually a video game called dumb ways to die? Well here is a picture of the theme song:

I don't know how much you have to pay for it on a tablet or phone (if you have to pay for it at all ) . These are some dumb ways to die (I was supposed to make a cause and effects paragraph so all of these causes end up with death) : sticking your head in a running washer (I think your head will get torn off  and everything in it will get stained ), go swimming in a shark tank (I think you will get torn to peaces), stand in front of a speeding train (you will get flattened like a penny ).

Comparing Minecraft Zombies to Zombie Pigman

This is a picture of a zombie pigman and a regular zombie:

There are many, many differences and similarities between the two so I'm not going to list them all off. These are some of the differences and similarities. The dreaded zombie pigman only spawns in the n...n...nether (to get to the nether you need to get at least 10 obsidian and to get a diamond pickaxe!(pick) (which needs to be mined with a iron pick.) ) The regular zombie only spawns in the place you spawn in the overworld. Once a zombie sees you (zombies can see in the dark but will burn when in the sun) it will chase you until either it kills you, it burns up or it can't see you any more. The zombie pigman: it only attacks you when you attack it and to make it even more terrifying, when a zombie pigman is wounded it calls it's comrades in a 16 block radius and they will instantly become enraged at every player on the server! They both always hold their arms out in front of them (well they're zombies). The zombie pigman has a sword. The regular zombie doesn't (very rarely a zombie will spawn with a sword!) You can actually find both types in the overworld without a nether portal. All that has to happen is for it to rain and lightning to strike 3 or 4 blocks from a pig and it will turn into a zombie pigman and all monsters can spawn in the rain (except endermen). Both can actually spawn with armor!

Raising chicks

Raising chicks is actually a pretty fun job! All you need is a confined space (like a big container) inside (your garage will work), Food (you need to change as they age) and water  a heat lamp and of course the chicks themselves. If you leave chicks out of the right amount of heat for long enough then they will actually die. I know tragic but because we know that we have almost raised 7 chicks! 7!

How to Survive Your First Night in Minecraft

You'll need: A system that you can play Minecraft on and Minecraft itself.

Okay trust me I'm very good at Minecraft and I've even gotten diamonds by myself! First, make a new world make sure to turn it to survival mode. Then, if it's your first time playing Minecraft definitely turn on bonus chest, make sure to keep superflat off and keep it on easy. Next, click the create world button. Next, no matter what biome you spawn in sprint to the bonus chest and get everything you can find in the chest. Then, if you can see a group of houses in the distance sprint towards them because you've found a village! If not run to the nearest tree and mine the wood from it with your axe if you got one or two, craft a crafting table and more wood planks. Then, if you got a pickaxe (pick) mine a staircase down and and get 3 stone and craft a stone pick. Then, mine 8 more stone and craft a furnace. Then, get more wood and put the plain wood in the top and the planks on the bottom. Then, mine more stone and craft a full set of stone tools. Next, kill 3 sheep, craft a bed and sleep and BANG! You're finished with the night!

My First Full Night in Minecraft

When Dad said that he got Minecraft for the PS3, I was excited! I bought a book on Minecraft (it was Minecrafter) and read it to get a bunch of knowledge. When it was time for my first (full) night I was not prepared (ever tried to live in 1/2 a wooden house?) so I went out onto the ice. It was a time before hoppers, it was a time before witches, it was a time before etc. etc. Anyway, I didn't have a sword, the only tool I DID have was a wooden axe, so the only thing I did do is not look at that Enderman that was 2 blocks away from me (quite literally). I did my happy dance (in Minecraft, which is squat, unsquat, repeat) when the sun came up because I knew I was one of the few that survived their first nights! I could now say "I survived my first night!". I hope others could also survive their first night!

Project Spark

Well, I haven't done a post in a long time, so I decided to do a website and a game (they're both the same thing, basically). Well this website/game is called Project Spark! It is a programming website where you can program things but you don't need to focus on programming the characters to actually be there! You can program or play on the Xbox or you can just play on the computer (it has to be on a Windows 8 and on Internet Explorer 10 or higher). You can level up by completing feats or getting downloads or likes. You get credits the same way you level up. You use the credits to buy stuff to help you create!

My first night in Minecraft

This story is actually true and I admit it my first night in Minecraft was pretty short. We didn't even know anything about Minecraft. Okay here we go, this was my first night in Minecraft! Joshua and I were doing the tutorial on Minecraft when it was nighttime Josh kept telling me to get inside the house but I kept refusing to get inside and by making that choice I got killed by one spider and I even had a (puny) wooden sword!

Dave and Benny are best friends. Dave was sleeping over at Benny's place. Dave suggested playing video games but the old TV wouldn't work! Later they settled on board games like monopoly and scrabble.

Personally I love going to his house. We have done so much together in Minecraft! Last night he came over to our house and he told us that he and another friend actually finished Minecraft!  We actually got to the Nether like a bagillion times!

It's almost spring time!

Like I said in the title It's almost spring time! Our two chickens are both laying eggs but   the Buff just randomly died a few weeks ago. Buffy layed eggs bigger than store bought ones! Buff did hog all the food though.

Nana and Papa are coming here next Sunday evening!!!

As I said in the title Nana and Papa are coming February 15th 2015! That's only 2 days from now! YAY! I can't wait to see them and play with them and wake them up and possibly sled with them!  We have a guest bed so that guests can sleep on a proper bed.

Future Plans for My 11th B-Day

Well, one thing we know about my b-day party is that it's Harry Potter themed! Another thing we 100% sure about is that it's on Feb. 20. We're 90% sure that we'll be doing Quiddich. Hopefully this b-day party  will be O.K! 

Nintendo Headquarters and Microsoft Visitor Center Field Trip

Yesterday was very fun. We went to the Nintendo Headquarters and Microsoft Visitor Center.

 The thing that stunk about going to Nintendo is that the only ways to get a tour is to either have a friend or family member that works there or by winning tickets for a tour.

We did get official cards that shows that we went to Nintendo.

 My favorite part about going to the Microsoft Visitor Center was trying out the video games on the Xbox One/360.

Places I want to take Nana and Papa

Nana and Papa are coming to visit so this is what I've thought up for places to take them.
These are the places that I would like to take Nana and Papa: Nick's Jr, the taco truck, Pike Place Market, maybe the zoo.
We would like to take them to our church that we go to (Grove Church). I'm very sure that our Children's pastor, Patty, will be thrilled to see our Nana and Papa all the way up here because they're from California.
We could take them down the street to meet Michael, our friend.
I'd like Nana to take us to the Children's museum.
